nzm: Oi! I know what an English billion is, but at the time of asking, all I could remember was that an American billion was something different that had never made sense to me. Now of course I know that American *illions go up in increments of 3 zeros and it all makes perfect sense. So nah!
My mother maintains that that's why retirees stay married. Somebody's got to hold the map at arm's length while the other one navigates from behind the wheel!
