I keep coming across craftspeople who sell their work on Etsy. I can do Amazon, but get very nervous about Ebay, and have never tried it. And Etsy? No clue. Pie in the sky.

Yet another English teacher in Madrid. In 1994 we left England, and a recession, and tootled off to the Middle East. In 2007 we came back to Europe - choosing Spain, a western European country with a remarkable Arab and Asian cultural heritage. We thought we'd have a couple of years in a European capital (galleries! theatre!) - find our feet, learn the language, reconnoitre - before moving somewhere fertile and cheap, where we could keep one foot in the day job, and the other ankle deep in compost, home grown fruit & veg and chicken poo... er.. eggs.. Two years - and another recession - later, we're still happy where we are. We'll have chickens one day, but for now, life is good just the way it is. Which is largely why I rarely have time to blog it!
