Aw shucks! Thanks Bill! I'm actually feeling very positive about this year. I seem to have reached a watershed with my Spanish, or at least, a small rill. Honestly, I don't know how fluent you are, or how much it matters to you, but I have been terribly frustrated by my inability to have a proper conversation. I have taken a long time to get to the point where I have a feel for the language, as opposed to considerable anxiety about all the component parts. Do you know what I mean? And life here begins to feel full of possibilities I could only dream of before. Happy New Year indeed!
